Cant start - no log

Hi,

I just installed alfresco on windows XP. I had to shut down the antivirus and the firewall inorder to do so.

When I try to run alf_start.bat I get the following:

"The syntax of the command is incorrect."

The JAVA_HOME was not set so I did it manually. Otherwise I have no clue what could be wrong. Any ideas?

That file calls alfresco.bat. I'd open up alfresco.bat and then copy and paste each line into the command prompt until I saw which one was breaking.

I don't know if this is it, but sometimes when you install software in a directory that contains spaces, you can get some broken command-line scripts. Just a thought.
