cannot login using administrator - the remote server maybe unvailable or your authentication details have not been recognized

Hi,

I try to login using administrator but i cannot login with error message : the remote server may be unvailable or your authentication details have not been recognized. I try many times to login, sometimes i can login. I guess it related with the database. I'm using windows and alfresco version 4.2.a.

Are you able to login to Alfresco Explorer?
This error is related to Solr indexing. It could be because of issues with model during integrity check in that case there should be other errors along with this.
Or else issue with solr  itself then only option is to replace solr with lucene.

Hi,

The 404 part in solr mostly happens when alfresco didn't start hence solr can't connect to it.
So I'd think that he can't login into alfresco explorer either
If so, please provide us with the full log
