Cannot invite unless in admin group

Hi,

Did the search and could not find anything helpful in the posts. Problem:

User creates a site in Share. They hold the manager role. They try and invite another user. The invite fails - 0 invites sent errors. When I put that user in the default ALFRESCO_ADMINISTRATORS group they can then send invites successfully.

The email is working - users get update emails and admins can send invites to sites.

Using community version 4.0d
Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit
Standard install out of the box.

I hope someone can shed some light on this. An I missing some obvious user config?

The invitation e-mail template is in Repository in "Data Dictionary" folder. I had also changed the permissions on the folder, only after that invitation sending errors started to occur. Go to your Repository and "Manage Persmissions" of "Data Dictionay" folder. Give at least read permissions to the user who sends the invitation. I searched for the "Site Managers" group but it doesn't exist. Just press inherit permissions and "Everyone Read Only" is there. That should fix the site notification sending problem.
