The "remote" object is only available for Surf web apps, not those in the Repository.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi guys,
I've read the article and in a comment posted by Jeff Pots he talks about a way to expose the "remote" object as javascript root object. I'm interested in using the remote object within webscript in Alfresco 3Labs.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Really thanks for your reply, it works fine!
I just added the remote entry to the scriptsObjects as the endpoint configuration was already there.
Just to share with others, i tested it on Alfersco Labs - v3.0.0 (Stable 1526) Community Edition.

Thanks efycaci_ramesh!

Hi again,
in this article http://drquyong.com/myblog/?p=49 the remote object is exposed through the bean "webscripts.container" and works fine. There is a way to expose the remote object through an independent bean? I would like to exposed the remote object in an external xml context (e.g. under tomcat shared directory).

Any help is really appreciated.

Hi! I´m using Alfresco 3.3 and I want to call an external Yahoo Web Service from a Web Script. I was following this link http://drquyong.com/myblog/?p=49, but I have a problem, WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\webscript-framework-config.xml file doesn´t exist in this version (3.3). Has anyone an idea where I have to add the http endpoint?

Thanks a lot!
