Can you apply permissions to certain files within a folder?

Hi there,

If possible can somebody please provide some clarification on how to set up/apply permissions to certain files/documents within a space/folder?

For example, if a folder has 10 documents in it and 3 of those 10 documents are to be read by certain people while the other 7 are not, how would one accomplish setting up permissions so that its possible to do that?

In alfresco share, click on a document name in the repository and you have "manage permissions" in the menu on the right.
But the fact that you have 3 files for 1 group and 7 for the other means that there will probably be more so you should really think about using subfolders and applying rights to subfolders instead of files individually.
