Hi

After using Alfresco a little and doing a lot of test which demands me to change users often and navigate through a lot of space I figured that a bookmark option would help a lot.
By bookmark I m talking about maybe an option on the left with the My Home,Alfresco Home etc. with the name My favorite home where there would be links(shortcuts) to the space you visit the most. Just like in a bookmark you could add and delete such links.

So my question is, Is there a simple way, and by simple I mean a way that doesn't involve development (or not too much), to make such a bookmark page?
Where should I look at if I want to add an option in the left list?

I searched a bit in the wiki and in the forum but there is nothing that looks like it.

Regards
Seraphon

We already have a feature called "Shortcuts" - on the document/space details page there is an action 'Create Shortcut'. Then if you change the panel on the left to the "Shelf" using the Navigator menu then the user shortcuts are displayed and can be managed in the 'Shortcuts' panel.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi, I'm looking for something similar to this as well…  In my company, there are some documents that everyone will access frequently, but they fall into specific categories so we don't want them just sitting in the root space.  We're just starting to set this up, and currently have our own internally developed HTML 'intranet' with links to important docs on the homepage, and then links to more specific sections.  Is there a way I can set up some default shortcuts for everyone, or put a widget of some sort on My Alfresco page that contains shortcuts?  This is really the last thing my boss and our CEO need to see before they fall in love with the product, and if it's not possible, then we'll probably end up keeping our current homepage and linking to alfresco for the specific sections, but I'd prefer if we could do away with our plain HTML pages.
