Can't read EPUB files on Alfresco Mobile... on the iPad??

Hello,

I have installed Alfresco Mobile on the Ipad these last few days.
EPUB is that brand new open format everyone is pushing for mobile devices.

From my iPad and in my Alfresco space, I can now preview PDFs, images, RTF documents but… not EPUB files :shock: !

I have only 2 questions:

A - Is an EPUB reader expected for development so I can preview my EPUB in the Alfresco environment?

B - Has someone found a workaround or an app for this?

If someone can help, I'd be immensely grateful :lol: .

Hi,

- Alfresco Mobile for iOS is using the iOS built in preview. Despite Apple's excellent support of ePub (iBook, iBook Author), ePub is not yet supported by the built in preview.
- Despair not, iBook is a free download on iOS and you can "Open In" an ePub file in
iBook right from Alfresco Mobile

So you can safely store documentation, books, etc
in Alfresco Cloud or on premise and read them on your iPad at any time!
