Can't make Record Management work

Operating system: Linux Mint Qiana, Core I7, 6 GB RAM (and a second machine with 16 GB RAM).

I've installed alfresco community 5.0.b and it worked fine. Then I installed Record Management (alfresco-rm-2.3.a.1-1104) and it stopped working. When I try to login, I get the following message:

An error has occured in the Share component: /share/service/components/dashlets/my-sites.
It responded with a status of 500 - Internal Error.

I have made no manipulation other then installed the Record Management module rigorously as instructed on the manual page (I did it several times in two different machines and I always get the same error message.

Can't figure out whatis going on here. Any help will be much appreciated.

Hello,

can you please post your alfresco.log file contents? This error looks like your Repository did not start up properly or you may have configured an incorrect endpoint for Share - but I assume the installation worked before you added the Records Management module, so I'd like to check the alfresco.log first…

Yes, before installing the RM module, the system was working fine (see attached log).

During the installation, the script displays no errors, so I presume installing process is fine.
Nevertheless, when I start the servers again, the result IS different. When I try to login, I get the message "Your authentication details have not been recognized or else Alfresco is not
available right now" (this is a translation, so original message could be a little different).
So, this time, the system does not allow me to log in.

Many thanks.

Hello,

your Alfresco Repository does not start up because of an error with the RM module. After checking the community file lists for Alfresco 5.0.a and 5.0.b it seems clear to me that you are running an incompatible combination of Alfresco core and RM. Please use the correct Records Management version for the 5.0.b release.

Thank you, Axel. I had an intuition that the issue could be related to version incompatibility. Nervertheless, no matter how much I tried, it did not find any information concerning this. I downloaded both modules from the the official repository. Since I couldn't find any information concerning available versions and their compatibility, I assumed this would not be a problem.

Any way, is there any thing you can tell me about finding and downloading the right packages?

Thanks a lot.
