Can't access Alfresco over the network

I have installed alresco 4.0b on my windows 7 with default settings.
It is working fine on my local machine.
But when I try to access it from other computer on same network like http://ip-address:8080/alfresco, it took too much and eventually get time out error.
Please help

Have you bound to the external IP address?  So not localhost or 127.0.0.1?

Have you got your firewall blocking access?

I just have managed to fix the issue.
I have enabled the property cifs.ipv6.enabled in C:\Alfresco\tomcat\webapps\alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\subsystems\fileServers\default\file-servers.properties file.

Check your system firewall may be it's blocking to use outside your machine.........

I suspect it is firewall issue becasue i checked after disablling the firewall and also other application hosted works fine when accessed from client (BUT the other application is not jsp based)
