Hi again!

I have installed Alfresco 2.1 with postgresql and it´s configured with NTLM authentication. When I log in from my workstation to access the share \\server\alfresco it works fine but when I log into from my windows 2003 server I can´t log in. On alfresco log it says:  ERROR [smb.protocol.auth] Logon failure

At the risk of generating a shameless bump…

Anyone got any ideas on this one?

I have the same problem. I have Alfresco Community v2.1.0 installed on a SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 box. I've had Alfresco up and running for a couple of weeks now. NTLM is configured for use both in the Web app as well as CIFS shares. Everyone is quite happy.

Today the boss decided to merge Alfresco with our process management system (XSOL) and needed to access Alfresco from a Windows 2003 member server on our domain. While there are no problems accessing his CIFS share from the 2003 server, he is unable to access the Web app from 2003. The Web app can be accessed from all of our XP boxes with IE 6/7, our 2000 member servers, as well as my SuSE Linux 10.1 laptop via Firefox. The only snag seems to be accessing the Alfresco URL from 2003.

I feel certain that it's a permissions issue, but I can't find it. If I log into the 2003 member server as the Domain Administrator, I can access the Alfresco Web App just fine. If I log in as any other user, even those with Domain Admin rights, I can access only the CIFS shares.

I would appreciate any advice that anyone might be able to provide.
