Calling ebscript from custom UI

Hi Team,

I am using alfresco 4.1 enterprise edition, I have created the custom UI link like (Upload new version,manage aspects) Now i want to call a web script from that custom ui ,how to accomplish that .And also can you provide me with the configuration details as i am new to alfresco.

You can make rest calls from your custom UI to alfresco repository.Please refer the link http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Web_Scripts_Examples.
