blog entry draft property

Hi,

I've been trying to figure out how draft blog entries are represented in the repository.  When I use the Node Browser to view the properties of a draft blog entry node, there appears to be no property associated with the blog status. There doesn't appear to be an aspect related to this either.  Does anyone have knowledge of how the blog entry status (e.g, Draft) is represented in the repository?

I can see from the REST javascript that a blog draft is really an entry that is restricted to the author by permissions. So, no property is used.

Just for clarification in case someone runs into this issue.

The javascript that retrieves user published blog entries (bog-posts-mypublished.get) checks whether a published date field exists for an entry.  If no published date field exists, the entry is considered a draft.
