AVM possible for CMS/Documents?

Hello,

  is it possible to somehow use AVM for Document Management?

  I don't understand why is it enabled only for web management (for example having no history of deleted file is probably quite bad).

   Or should I create a workflow, so deleted files are only moved to some "Attic" directory like in CVS? Ugly solution, but probably would work…

Of course you can use an AVM store for document management if it fits your requirements better.

But how do I configure this?

I mean how do I configure, that I want to use AVM for all content and disallow all content outside of AVM.
