Auto-Confirm Site Invitations?

Hi,
I'm using Alfresco 4.0d community edition. My user group is quite small and I'd like to make the user experience as simple as possible - in my situation that's the key for making users actually use the system.

For that reason, I'd like to remove confirming site invitations: When somebody creates a site and invites people to it, there should not be any confirmation of this invitation, instead the user should be a member of the site right away. In case there's some error, the user could then leave the site again.

Another question is if the admin-user may perhaps do so? As we don't have so many users, it could also be the admin who assings users to sites.

Is that possible?

Best Regards,
Hermann

Could you just add your users by group and not do the invitation at all?

Well, in my scenario, users are assigned to logical groups, which could be mapped to Alfresco groups.

But, would it then be possible for the site owner and/or admin user to add the whole group to a site? And if so, would all users assigned to this group then be able to view/edit the site contents?

If yes, this could be a viable alternative.
