Authentication management

Hello everybody.
I would like to know if is it possible to use Activiti with LDAP or Active Directory. If it is, can I have more informations about it? I found nothing about that on the Activiti documentation.

An other thing I would like to know is about Single Sign On (CAS). Can it be used with Activiti? I have to integrate many tools (Activiti, Alfresco…) in my project and I would like to avoid my users have to sing in each tool.

I am also interested in this approach and I have looked at the suggested thread and also this one: http://forums.activiti.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2439&p=12005&hilit=custom+usermanager#p12005

However I am using the 5.8 release of Activiti and if I look at the javadoc (http://www.activiti.org/javadocs/overview-summary.html) I can not see either the UserManager or GroupManager classes. Am I missing something (probably!) or if 5.8 has changed how should this be done now?
