Assign an aspect value across a space

I have a custom aspect defined for ProductID.  I'd like the end user to be able to assign a value to that aspect (e.g. 8236), for ALL items that enter that space.

(e.g. I was trying to get all the nodes beneath the space to inherit the properties I'd set on the parent space, w/o success)

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Hi

There is no support for a node inheriting properties from its parent nodes.
The only things that are inherited from the node structure are permissions.
