Apply aspect by node-type form

In the moment I'm setting up some custome content types to store measurment data. So I have a type to store basic information about a sensor. The informations dealing with a special type of sensor I want to store with a aspect for every sensor type.
Is there a way to apply a aspect to contentc type from a form?

So I want to show a dropdown menu to select the sensor type. After that the field specific for this sensor should show up.

Hello,

dynamic / dependent field sets are not available in a standard Alfresco setup. There may be extensions out there that I am not aware of. Failing any community-provided extension, you may need to implement this yourself. From a technical perspective, this is absolutely doable.
