API for determining error endings?

Is there a way I can figure out from a HistoricProcessInstance which end event led to the termination of the process?
I'm in particular interested to identify whether the process ended with the ErrorEndEvent.

If I recall correctly, the id (or name) of the end event is stored in the history tables, which you could then use to differentiate.
