Friendz,
I Have changed alfresco RMI ports
alfresco #1 = 50501
alfresco #2 = 60601
when I am running both alfresco with 8080 and 8082 respectively.
And from 8080 I am deploying my ASR to 8082 it always says " Could not initiate Remote connection to < given IP> "
Its on same machine itself :
1) I tried with my local IP address
2) I tried with 127.0.0.1
Still showing same error.
what could be the solution ?

You don't deploy via ASR to the HTTP port!
What have you changed to 50501?
You will need to change more than just the RMI registry port if you are running more than one instance of alfresco on the same box. You also need to update the rmi service ports. The easiest way is to set the registry port and the service ports to the same number.
