Any way to check if user is already logged in?

Our customer wants to prevent multiple logins.  Is this possible?  I tried AuthenticationService.authenticationExists, but you apparently have to be running as admin to invoke that method.

Just a thought, but maybe you could use the audit trail? Arent logins logged there?
