Alternatives invoking a REST service from activiti-bpmn

Hi,

when consuming a restful web service via an Activiti-bpmn-workflow I'd use the service task in the workflow and specify a java class calling the service.

Are there alternatives to invoke a rest service with activiti (tasks) which I missed ?

I am relatively new to Activiti.

Nope, that's the way to go. There is no out-of-the-box ServiceTask in activiti that does rest-resquests.
