I have installed alfresco 1.2 (community) on a linux RHEL 4.2 with tomcat 5.5.13 and JVM 1.5.0-6, all work.

now the problem, i have been installed the OOffice 2.0.1 US without JVM, the log tell me "i have been found the Uno connector -> your are connected",
but in the transformation menu i can't see any of the filetype supported by openoofice ?.

what wrong ?

Hi Vincent

The list of transformation targets in the UI is actually configured, so you would need to update that:
http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Web_Client_Configuration_Guide#Transformation_Mimetype

Make sure you do the update in the shared/classes/alfresco/extension/web-client-config-custom.xml
file so it is upgrade-proof.  The mimetype needs to be one that is registered, which the OpenOffice ones are (tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/mimetype).

What are you wanting to transform from and to?

Cheers
Paul.

ok thanks ,
i add the starwriter 5.0  mimetypes in the <transformers>
i create a new rule to convert a .odt document (ooffice 2 writer ) to a staroffice .sdw file
alfresco accept the rule.

when i try to use it with drop a document in the space fresh configured the server complaint.
"Transaction didn't commit: Transaction has been rolled back because it has been marked as rollback-only
"

on the log i found:
