Hello,

Desperate for some help…. I had Alfresco One working fine, but in order to start creating workflows, I installed Apache Tomcat and Activiti, and since then I get a:

Estado HTTP 404 - /share

type Informe de estado

mensaje /share

descripción El recurso requerido no está disponible.

Apache Tomcat/8.0.24

The Chrome Icon for Alfresco Share has also disappeared.

Activiti and tomcat work, but alfresco won´t start!

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thx!!

Check whether both your tomcat instance are using port 8080? If that's the case you may need to change port for any tomcat instance (better change the new tomcat instance).

Why would you need to install a new Tomcat + Activiti? To use workflow Alfresco has Activiti embedded within as the default workflow engine.

Sujay, I appreciate your reply…. Let me see! yes they are both using 8080.

But going back to your comment about it being embedded…. I just don´t see it anywhere, I am using the trial version of Alfresco ONE, and I cannot see Activiti anywhere, and I have gone everywhere believe me! and nor do the Damn emails works either… perhaps its because it is a trial version…!?!?

I am trying to design a simple process to move docs from one place to another when approved etc… once I and prove Alfresco works, then I would present it to management… but right now I am just pulling my hair out.

I did notice that in the Alfresco global ini, workflows and emails are set to false, but even if I change it to TRUE, it makes no difference…

Thanks for your help…
