Hello,

We are proud to announce that V1.1 of Alfresco is now available.

A major enhancement is that permissions are now part of the open source version.  This reflects our initial goals of filtering advanced functionality into the open source version as more capabilities are added to the commercially supported professional versions.  As always, we encourage people to take up one of the support options to show their support for what we are doing.

The open source version is available to download at: http://www.alfresco.org/download.html

Release notes for V1.1 can be found in our wiki here: http://www.alfresco.org/mediawiki/index.php/Release_1.1

Please see http://www.alfrescosoftware.com if you are interested in the Professional or Enterprise Network editions.

Thank you again for your continued support,

The Alfresco Team.

This a great news !!
Thanks a lot for hearing from our needs.

Next battle : implement a group support in Alfresco open community :-).
