Hi. I enabled MT in Alfresco 4.0c. It works well with my testing. The issues is if I am logged into the root account, I can send email invites out fine. However, if I am logged in as a MT domain (IE: admin@domain.com) - I am not able to send an invite - I get the 0 sent and 1 failure message. I do not see an SMTP setting on a MT Site setting - am I missing something?

Do you have any errors in the Alfresco log (and/or Share log, if you're running Share on a separate tier) ?
Thanks,
Jan

Hi,
I am using Alfresco share 3.2. I am trying to enable the e-mail feature but have problems with it. Does this version support it? because I came across another thread which dealt with solutions and they suggested a change in the e-mail folder under the subsystems folder. But the E-mail folder did not exist.
var\lib\tomcat6\webapps\alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\subsystems\email\OutboundSMTP\outboundSMTP.properties
Can anyone give me a solution for this? I have been trying this for a long time now.
Thank you

I will check my logs again. However, as far as email setup, you have to change the settings in alfresco-global.properties as well to enable the invite.

Thanks for the reply tnielsen91 !! I have made the changes in alfresco-global.properties , repository.properties , core-services-context.xml , and the one i mentioned in the previous post. But still no luck. I have also checked the ports in the firewall, they are also active and open.
Thanks
