Alfresco share document-details page

Hi All,

I have used alfresco share forms for creating a content.

In this form I have one property which displays richText, when I submit the form it save text in html format in repository.

when i go to document-details page, in properties dashlet it shows this property but it displays content in html format only.

like for property Product Description
Product Description: <p>this is test product</p><span> welcome to shop</span>

I want it to display content text only in propeprty.

pleas send your valuable suggestion.

You need to assign another form control to it.

E.g. look at the richtext control: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Forms#richtext.ftl

So like the example use this one and if this isn't exactly what you want, just make your own control and use the richtext or another one as base.

Thank you for your reply, I am using same richText control.

When I go to create/edit form it displays RichText editor, and when i put some text and formatting in richtext box, it gets stored also.
But as we know richtext will store it in HTML format to property with all styles that we have applied to text.

So when I go to document-details page, it displays same html string which it has stored in repository.

My question is how to avoid this kind of display and display only text in document-details page.

so in document details page it will look like 

Description: <p>This is the document description.. </p>

Hi,
I have the same problem, I edit with richtext but I want to display with or without layout but without html code.
Is there someone found a solution to display text without html code ?
