Alfresco share 4.2.d overriding the methods of js and add to shared folder

I am using alfresco share 4.2.d version. I want to override share-header.lib.js since I want to add few more menu items. So how do I do it in share-header.get.js file. Could you please help me with an example and also how do I add it to shared folder from WEB-INF.

Thanks for the reply.How can i change the Dashlet name(My sites).I tried changing slingshot and custom-dashlet-get properties file.But it did not change the dashlet name.Please suggest what can be done.
