Alfresco on FC7 fails after install with 404 report & ot

I'm getting the following problem after installing     AlfrescoCommunity-2.0-Linux-x86-Install  on a FC7 box.

When trying to connect to th  http://localhost:8080/alfresco  the tomcat server reports


type Status report

message /alfresco

description The requested resource (/alfresco) is not available.


Please advise me on a fix for this.

I'm also not finding any of the launchers that were mentioned in the readme and was forced to run via terminal….

Please check the alfresco.log log file. This should give you better data what went wrong during startup.
