Hi all,
do you know if it's possible to choose/select the version "minor" or "major" when the user updates the metadata or content of a document from the Office applications "Word", "Power Point" and "Excel"?
Please, see the picture called "FieldSelectingMajorMinorVersion.png" to understand my question.
Thank you very match.
Kind Regards.

Hi Axel,
thank you for the answer.
I found the functionality on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel 2016. These are the steps to select the major/minor version functionality after editing a document on Microsoft Office applications:
I attach some screenshots where the functionality is.

The major/minor choice for versioning cannot (and should not) be represented by a simple metadata field in the document properties sheets. That choice is NOT part of metadata, but a parameter to an action. In previous versions of at least Microsoft Word it was possible to select major/minor version when you used the full check-out/check-in action cycle from within Word, e.g. open a document, then use the "Start" menu to check-out the document, make your changes and when you are done use the check-in action in the "Start" menu. I don't know how that is with current Office versions, as well as with the other Office applications, since I no longer use MS Office. Also, MS Office has never been consistent, e.g. Word had slightly different behaviour and functionality from Excel or PowerPoint.
