Alfresco Labs

Hi.

I do not seem to find information about the difference between Alfresco Labs and Community edition. Could please someone post a link where I could find out what is a difference between those two versions or could someone explain to me difference? What is Alfresco Labs for?

Also which version of Alfresco should I install that includes Alfresco Records Management module? I tried installing it on 3.2 community edition, but there is reported problem on doing this.

The term Alfresco Labs is now obsolete and should not be used.

Alfresco Labs was re-branded as Alfresco Community Edition.  They both refer to the non-Enterprise open source edition of Alfresco.

Alfresco Labs ended at version 3.1 and when 3.2 was released, they merely changed the name to Alfresco Community Edition.

Alfresco Community Edition made some significant changes, causing the current Record Management module to not function correctly.  The RM portions are being re-written, and according to some of the webinars and posts, should be released around September 2009.
