Hello at Alfresco,

I was doing some research on Alfresco yesterday and saw for the first time that the Joomla and Alfresco integration have been launch. I manage to download it and get it install but are getting the following error;

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Uri_Exception' with message 'Invalid URI supplied' in /home/mysite/public_html/administrator/components/com_alfresco/libraries/Zend/Uri/Http.php:98 Stack trace: #0 /home/mysite/public_html/administrator/components/com_alfresco/libraries/Zend/Uri.php(117): Zend_Uri_Http->__construct('http', '//mysite.com:8…') #1 /home/mysite/public_html/administrator/components/com_alfresco/libraries/Zend/Http/Client.php(223): Zend_Uri::factory('http://mysite….') #2 /home/mysite/public_html/administrator/components/com_alfresco/libraries/Zend/Http/Client.php(209): Zend_Http_Client->setUri('http://mysite….') #3 /home/mysite/public_html/components/com_alfresco/models/abstract.php(159): Zend_Http_Client->__construct('http://mysite….', Array) #4 /home/mysite/public_html/components/com_alfresco/models/abstract.php(216): AlfrescoModelAbstract->getXml('http://justnet….') #5 /home/mysite/public_html/components/com_alfresco/models/abstract.php(62): AlfrescoModelAbstract->authenticate() #6 / in /home/mysite/public_html/administrator/components/com_alfresco/libraries/Zend/Uri/Http.php on line 98

I have done most of what is mention in the forum regarding to try to solve the problem - but the problem is still the same.

I have also tried to find an integration manual or at least a step by step in highlights, but not been able to find it. Please allow me to suggest that you do such a guidline to save your and the members time on the forum or support.

My company are developing a quite large portal project and we are interesting in testing Alfresco in full to see if it will be able to add some of the requirement which we are working on at the moment. The entire portal are at the moment developed on a Joomla 1.5.8

I do hope you will help us out to get the Joomla - Alfresco integration to work on our system, and that you will reply to my below questions;

1. Will we need a full Alfresco installtion on our server to be able to be able to use the Joomla - Alfresco integration?
2. If we install Alfresco 3.0 on our servers will we than be able to use Microsoft Sharepoint and thereby also Microsoft Office online or at least integrate with Microsoft Office?
3. Will the Microsoft Sharepoint integration be possible in Joomla via the Jommla - Alfresco integration? In other words will our members and customers be able to use Microsoft from our Joomla fronet-end?
4. If yes to 2 and 3 above how will this work with the Microsoft Lincenses? Will "Microsoft suddenly become OpenSource"?

Thank you very much for your time.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you have problems with the integration from the looks of the error your profile url's might not be fully correct. Can you post the url's you have used in your profile ?

For answer to your other questions I suggest you contact one of the Alfresco staff members. I can only help you with the Joomla integration which we build at Joomlatools.

Best,

Johan

The URL's seem to be correct, not sure what the problem is.

Hi,

In last week i have the same problem with integration Alfresco / Joomla!. All you have describe in your post.
then realized that this happened because of lack of attention. When you create the menu item pointing to Alfresco / Respository / Spaces, on the right side in "Parameters (Basic)" you have to choose the option that was created in the component.

Please, verify if you do this.
