Hi Guys,

I have an existing website writtten in Cold Fusion 8 that is power using a bespoke Cold Fusion CMS. We are looking to migrate the site to a new CMS so that we no longer need to support the bespoke CMS.

I'm current looking a Mura (SAVA) however, we already support a number of Alfresco installations and would like to stick to one product set. How easy/hard would it be to integrate CF8 with Alfresco?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mark.

Hi there,

It should be possible to integrate the two using CMIS and/or webscripts since Alfresco and ColdFusion are both Java web applications – the former using Tomcat as its default container and the latter JRun (NB:  JRun was the default for MX 6, the last version I worked with.  Maybe it's changed, though.)  As long as you deploy them to their respective servers and communicate to them using CMIS, webscripts, or web services, you should be able to get the two talking.

Yep Its working. I can confirm it.

You can also install CF in tomcat if you prefer.

I'm using alfresco rest api to discuss with alfresco from coldfusion. You might use java native class to interract from coldfusion, it work too Smiley Happy
