Hi,

When using the Alfresco Encryption content store will it be still necessary to specify <encrypted>true<encrypted> for properties in the content model.Or is that unnecessary because presumably properties are also encrypted along with content?

Please answer.

Thanks,
Phani

I don't know of an encrypted element in the data model.  I assume you mean the d:encrypted data type.

There are two related but independent concepts here.

The encrypted content store is for encryption of the content, so that is properties of type d:content

The data type d:encrypted is for a content property that is encrypted in the database and therefore not available to a DBA or searchable.
