I had installed the Alfresco 2.0 community edition for Windows a while ago. After a SOPHOS anti-virus update yesterday 3 files within the Alfresco distribution were marked to contain malware and were removed:

Virus 'Mal/Behav-128' has been detected in "…\Alfresco\OpenOfficePortable\App\openoffice\program\libxml2.dll". Cleanup unavailable.

Infected file "…\Alfresco\OpenOfficePortable\App\openoffice\program\libxml2.dll" has been deleted.

Virus 'Mal/Behav-128' has been detected in "…\Alfresco\OpenOfficePortable\App\openoffice\program\libxmlsec-mscrypto.dll". Cleanup unavailable.

Hi,

I've just submitted all three files to this online scanner http://virusscan.jotti.org/ and nothing was found.

It sounds like either you've picked up a virus which has infected your local copies, or Sophos has a false positive.

Thanks,
Mike
