Hi,

Can anybody tell me what's the difference between Alfresco version 3.2r and 3.3 ?
What new features did they add? and how do I enable these features.
I had recently installed version 3.3 on Windows OS and the basic outlook seems the same.
Any new changes? /enhancements?

As always, the wiki is your source of information here.

From the main page, click the big logo under "Current Community Release", then the link in the "Learn More" section "about this release", which will take you here: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Community_Edition_3.3

Thanks,
Mike

What happens after you have corrected your code as per the other thread ?

And you should not need to be messing around with the authentication service in the first place, you should already be authenticated.

Why create Alfresco v3.3 if the CIFS issues are not fixed?
Why so dumb?

Yes, because *that* kind of post is really going to encourage people to help you.

And what CIFS issue are you talking about?

If you think there is a CIFS issue have you investigated it and or checked it has been raised in JIRA?

I've checked your other postings on the forum, all regarding CIFS, all unanswered.

You need to post more details, I think, to allow people to answer you.    In particular what you have configured, what you are trying to connect, details of your OS, any errors in your logs, any research you have done.

Perhaps I should have answered when you asked whether CIFS works that it works fine for me.

Thanks, I have posted something in the Upload folder topic.
I was kind of frustrated unable to configure CIFS, and not knowing that someone else had done it made me totally lost.
