alfresco ce 3.4d vs 4.0b? which one?

hi everyone,

I will be installing alfresco ce on test and later production. Will move into commercial when I understand the product better.

just 1 question. i notice in the alfresco community downloads… when i click on document management community version, it will direct me to download alfresco community 4.0b and if i click on record management community versions, it will direct me to download alfresco 3.4d?

hmm? so in community 4.0b it will not have record management feature?

or both are the same just 4.0b is newer?

No.   RM is still being reworked for alfresco 4.0.

Do you have any idea on the timeline for when the Records Management module might be released for 4.0?

I asked this question in the RM forum previously but have not heard back yet… we are testing 4.0 now to implement by mid-year, but if it is going to be some time before the RM module is available, I may have to start our project using 3.4 so we can start using the RM module as-is.
