Hi,

Can Alfresco help in this? I am searching for a tool that can help me manage the content on some personal websites, which could also be in different languages. That is the text displayed on the website is actually loaded from a CMS!

I read some documentations on Alfresco, and I am feeling that Alfresco is a Document Management System for an organization rather then a Content Management System for a website.

Naturally I could be wrong, however could anyone please shed a little bit of light on my confusion?

Thanks and Regards,

It is a little confusing since Alfresco is both a document management system and a web content management system!   Smiley Happy

The best way to get familiar with Alfresco's functionality is to download it and start playing.  The WCM pages on the Wiki (in particular http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/New_Web_Content_Management_Plan#Getting_Started) introduce the concepts and general architecture of Alfresco, and the WCM forum (http://forums.alfresco.com/viewforum.php?f=29) is also a good reference.
