Can anyone explain me the Alfresco Architecture components? Like DM, WCM, RM, collaboration, DAM, Office, Mobile, OS file system, rich desktop application etc.. I have read the definition in the alfresco wiki, but i want to understand what does it mean with respect to Alfresco Architecture Context?
DM, WCM, RM, Are different modules of alfresco. You can consider different solutions offered by alfresco. DM-Document Management (Core Repository) WCM-Web Content Management (Old WCM is replaced with Alfresco share form framework) RM -Record Management (Created on top of alfresco repository) Collaboration –(Alfresco Share provide collaboration platform on top of alfresco repository)
Apart from these components rest of them are advance features which is supported by alfresco but those are not part of core architecture of alfresco.
