Alfresco 4.0.d and requirements: pdf2swf, openoffice, imagem

Hello,

Reading the Docs says that after i install SWF2PDF, OpenOffice and ImageMagick, i need to edit the alfresco-global-properties in order to change the path for the mentioned external applications. However, i did not change the path for any of the external applications mentioned above and when i inspected the global-properties file i found this section:

Alfresco is able to show the previews of documents, and play flash videos that come with the sample site.

Do i still need to change those paths to where the applications i installed are?

The openoffice i installed is in /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice (version 3.3.0)
ImageMagick is in /usr/bin/convert
SWFTools is in /usr/local/bin/pdf2swf

So what should i do?

That alfresco-global.properties snippet looks like it came from the binary installer. If so, you don't have to change anything–the binary installer took care of all of those dependencies and then set the paths to point to the locations in which it installed those programs.

If you were using the WAR-only install you'd have to install those programs yourself and then make those settings manually in alfresco-global.properties.

So you should be all set.

I can see global properties in my alfresco-4.0.d same as mentioned above, however, previews of documents are not showing up. I have installed using installer only as mentioned. Please help.
