Hello there! My "first" try to install Alfresco… from dusk till dawn! 😉
OpenSUSE 64 (standard Installation with xfce) VM VIrtualBox - 3 CPUs, 4 GB RAM, 8 GB HDD (dyn)
- "bin" file download and execute in a terminal as root. - GUI installation without any problems - and set a password for admin - after: /etc/init.d/alfresco start - message: all fine - but in detail the /opt/alfresco-4.0.d/tomcat/logs/catalina.$date.log says:

In consequence of this it's not possible to login as admin. The tomcat http://localhost:8080/ screen is shown correctly with: "Apache Tomcat".
This error is not the real error. All it says is that the repository is unavailable. The real error will hopefully be mentioned somewhere else in the log.
