Hey friends,

Not as the previous versions, Alfresco-4 has become in only 64 bit installer for Linux, is there any plans to add a 32bit version, or we have to install it manually?

I've no idea whether that was deliberate.

However the image is available alongside the 64 bit image.    Could you double check whether the 32 bit image works?

Where? The download page only has the 64 bit installer. When you say alongside, do you mean the 64 bit installer also contains the 32bit installation?

Change the download URL.  Instead of 64 use 32.

Please post the link. I tried the following:

http://dl.alfresco.com/release/community/build-3755/alfresco-community-4.0.a-installer-linux-x32.bin

and got:

Hi there,

I also would be very grateful for a link to the 32 bit linux installer, since I cannot use the 64 bit version on our server.

Regards
Thoralt

Same problem here. No official link to the 32 bit version for download. Substituting 64 for 32 in the URL from an external location just gives the error listed above. Can someone confirm if the omission of the 32 bit Linux installer version for download is intentional or accidental?

I can confirm that the 32 bit installer for linux won't be provided.

However you can still do a "manual" install of Alfresco, same as for any other platform.
