Alfresco 3.0 User Interface

Hi,

I have uploaded a presentation file showing sketches (wires) of our ideas for the Alfresco 3.0 (SPK) User Interface here:

This is a 'core' set and we will be developing these further over the next few days to show more of the new features.

Hi,

what about a new feature that is very much demanded:

- let the user modify the columns that are shown in main window of the web client: show a list of the possible fields and let the user arrange them (as available in the strandard windows explorer).

- let the user save the arrangement (as user preferences)

- include in the list the custom types variables

- let the columns arrangement be type dependent (i.e. for specialised cm:folder subtypes)

I know, I know, it is a long list, but it would be so nice… and usefull!

Also, showing defined assocations between documents could be better. For example, when you define a custom association in a custom aspect can only be viewed or edited on the properties page. This is just too much work and isn't adding much value.

It would be nice to let end users define instant relationships between documents
