Which JBoss Portal versions are supported with Alfresco 2.1? JBoss Portal 2.4.1 OR JBoss Portal 2.6 OR both?

Alfresco Wiki says that the release of version 2.1 is Tomorrow (Friday June 29)! Is this still the release date?

Both 2.4.1 and 2.6 should work - you will still need to follow the instructions on the wiki as we are not going to supply bundles.

Hello,

we have tried to deploy Alfresco 2.1 RC1 to an existing jboss portal 2.4.1 but we have numerous errors.

It seems that errors have something to do with Myfaces version.

Is it possible to deploy the the alfresco21.war directly to jboss portal or is it necessary to recompile it ?

There are some changes to the WAR that are needed:

You can take the latest code from HEAD and follow the steps above.

Hi Kevin,

I compiled alfresco from sources like suggested on the page you provided, then added this http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Install_On_Jboss_4.2.0 or copied myfaces-* to jbossweb/lib.

It starts ok, works as a servlet perfeclty, shows up in portal 2.6 (on 2.6.1 i get some internal error on starting the portlet) but the problem is, when I try to upload anything i get nullpointerexpception (stack trace here: http://forums.alfresco.com/viewtopic.php?t=7908 )

I get the same on portal 2.4.1.
