Hi
the homepage of alfresco.com introduce the 2.0.1 enterprise version, but i was unable to find it the enterprise 16-pincode restricted area (not on sourceforce, of course).

Any help?

Thanks

The enterprise version is only available to Alfresco subscription customers.  The changes and enhancements eventually feed through to the community version.

I was fixing on that: http://forums.alfresco.com/viewtopic.php?p=17453&sid=339c62f149771e1f722937d4d75d2e6f.

How long does it take for the changes and enhancements to feed through? We are thinking about implementing and Alfresco based platform here and I would like to start testing with an up to date version.

Are there fees for the enterprise version?  I liked the idea of using something that is open source.  We are a small-mid size business but have significant documentation management needs.

Community Version 2.0 is stable so you should have no problems testing and learning using this.  If you register for the Alfresco Content Community a recent webinar slide (Partner Update April 07 2.1 Preview) indicates an updated community edition 2.0.1 may be available sometime during the week starting 30 April, or thereabouts, if I read it right.

See this page on how to register to access the Alfresco Content Community:

There are fees for the Enterprise version.  You would need to contact the sales people for Alfresco to find out more - see:
http://www.alfresco.com/services/support/

I would highly recommend the Alfresco book.  Even though it covers 1.4 it is still entirely relevant for version 2.0, it just doesn't cover the new features and modules introduced in version 2.0, such as web content management.  See:
