adding custom action

Hi, How would I add a custom action to a space when a new item arrives of a specific mimetype where the mimetype is one that already exists in alfresco like xml files.

I already see there is a wiki guide on adding actions for mimetypes but I am asking about adding actions for mimetypes already defined by default as part of alfresco.

Hi,

When you are selecting the conditions for your rule you can discriminate by mimetype. In the rule creation wizard it is the option named "Items with the specified mimetype".
