Add new Role

I just want to add another role which in Alfresco only Configurator, Guest, bla bla.

is it possible to create a role and assign a security to new role, just read to XX space or etc.

that is not a friendly documentation.

usually we just create a new role, save itu, and assign the user to the new role bla bla.

it is to much xml and hard coded

a new user will be hard to manange his space.

Applogies, yes much of our documentation needs improving. I see what you mean unfortuntely it is not possible to add a new role using the web-client yet, we have not built the UI for that.

I will see if we have a simple description of what needs to be done to add a role without reading the entire permissions and security documentation.

There are several feature that need to be improved like create a role, make a space can be see only by assigned role.
