add custom metadata in file upload form

We are new in Alfresco . We want to add custom metadata in Upload form for that we used this link

but it doesn't work in Alfresco 3.4.  can anyone tell us how to add custom metadata in upload form? :?:

The link you provided gives instructions for configuring the edit forms to capture custom metadata that you have defined in the content model.  Those forms are shown when you click the edit metadata action in the document library.  I am not aware of an OOTB method to prompt for custom metadata in the upload dialogue.
