Add content size to advanced search dialog

what do I have to add to the web-client-config-custom.xml file so that I can search documents by their content size on the advanced search dialog.

Yes, I have read this article. I have searched all model definitions but I couldn't find the size property of the content type.

After having a look in the database I came to the conclusion that this can not be done with configuration.

You are right - I took another look at properties exposed for a normal content type, and size is not one of them. 

To do this, you'd have to extend the content model - either use a content extractor that gets the content size, or use a behavior that sets the size property upon addition or updating.
