add action in data lists

i want to add an extra action in datalists, e.g. in contact data list, i want to email that person by say clicking on the email field. how do can we also export items in the datalists?

        datalist actions are found in exploded share.war dir
               webapps/share/js
               webapps/share/components/data-lists
               webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/data-lists
               webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/site-data/

Maybe to send an email when clicking email field in a yui datatable you could add a listener there…

Exporting like a xls or csv is not developed/supported yet, and it might be coming soon…
