activiti without springframework

Hello,


The configuration files (activiti.cfg.xml) in the example projects all use spring what (as far as i understand).
What is the best practice to create a process engine beans without having springframework installed? I'd like to avoid the instatiation by code.

Is there a suitable exemple?
